PET’s outstanding clarity and favorable properties mean an increasing number of drink, cleaning and detergent products are being packaged in PET. Many of these products need to be protected against UV radiation. Holland Colours offers a series of UV absorbers for all kinds of UV-sensitive product formulations. We also have calculation models to determine dosing levels and the resulting additive cost.

LightGuard 270 serie is a liquid additive that enables extreme low dosing and provides significant economic advantages compared to masterbatch. Quick release results in excellent distribution of additive with dosing levels starting from 0,05% upto 0,5% maximum. LightGuard is thermally stable so it will not burn during the process and you won’t experience problems with “black spots” in your preforms, bottles or sheet.

LightGuard 175 serie is a highly concentrated cylindrical granule (1,5 mm) based on bio-wax carrier. Low melting point ( 80°C ) and small particles enable quick additive release, creating uniform TasteGuard distribution at lowest possible costs. It has been specially designed to have smooth procesing with dosing levels starting from 0,05% upto 0,5% maximum.
